Female Mallard Duck and her Ducklings

Today the Mallard female in our neighborhood pond brought out her babies, all twelve of them. Out of 135 shots I took of them this afternoon, I got about six shots that were actually good. No one said photography is easy. In Minnesota, we see all kinds of ducks in the spring, but I see more Mallards and Geese than anything. We are also waiting for the Hooded Mergansers to deliver their chicks as well.
